
Visual field testing or standard automated perimetry (SAP) remains the primary method for assessing functional loss in glaucoma. The threshold visual field (VF) test report typically contains a large number of summary and detailed metrics that describe the sensitivity and reliability properties of the test, such as the mean deviation (MD) and the threshold sensitivity of grid locations.
